UFaith is like a made-for-TV dramatization of a spousal abuse story written in the 1600's.

I had a Sea Kitten sandwich for supper last week.
I died a little inside when I realized what I had done.

I had to chuckle when I saw this on their site:
"Contrary to popular belief, the technical term for sea kitten offspring is "baby sea kitties," not "caviar."

I think it's a bit silly, but maybe it will help a bit. Fish are wonderful and beautiful creatures, and I think most people recognize that when they watch a Discovery channel show on fish.

But the long and the short of it is that fish are generally smelly and slimy, not fuzzy and soft. Parents don't want their kids to handle fish like they would a kitten... and the fish would prefer they didn't as well.

But I think there is some unlearning that could be done when it comes to how we typically see fish as being devoid of feelings, and not worthy of a second thought when it comes to killing them.
