If indeed this is, as it seems, a joke/hoax/prank, then it&#039;s worse than blasphemy - it&#039;s trivialization. Blasphemy at least takes the symbols of religion seriously when mocking them.</description>

		<description>This is idolatry as far as I am concerned. Perhaps that language of idolatry seems very strong, but the very concept of a \virtual church\ is itself a self-defeating construct. The church is supposed to be a gathered community -- a community that meets physically and not simply in idea or imagination. To make religion and its spiritual practices or disciplines into a virtual practice is to buy into the modern and post-modern obsession with voyeurism. Here one sees the transformation of liturgy (the work of the church, or the people) into lethargy.

At least, that is my humble opinion.</description>
